For those of you who know me well, this title is not exactly accurate. In fact, I started the countdown to Israel probably...the day I booked my flight. When I get excited for something, I tend to start crazy countdowns and so now, as I am preparing to leave for Israel in just one week, the countdown is starting to feel real! I am a bit overwhelmed with emotions as I am sad to leave my family and friends for 10 months, but also cannot wait to go back to Israel and begin this exciting journey. While this is not my first time in Israel, this is my first time writing a blog and so I am very new to this and am still trying to figure it all out. But, since so many people keep asking me if I will be blogging while in Israel, I figured I would get a little bit of a head start. I plan to update as often as possible and write about my exciting adventures in the Holy Land and at HUC. Feel free to leave comments (I guess that's how blogs work) or send me emails and I will try to respond as quickly as possible! And on that note, I will call it a night! 7 days!
